UPDATE: Missing man found

UPDATE: According to the RCMP, the 31-year-old male who was reported missing on January 29 has been located.

Smithers RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person who has not been seen since last year.

The man was last seen by Prince Rupert RCMP in December.

Police believe he was getting on a ferry to Port Hardy and that he was travelling with another man, now believed to be residing in the Duncan area.

RCMP are seeking any information regarding his whereabouts to confirm his safety and well-being.

He is described as an Indigenous male; 31 years old; 5’ 7” tall and weighing 141 lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair.
