Smithers RCMP are hoping the public can help as they investigate a suspicious occurrence that happened on Friday, Aug. 23 at the Bulkley Valley Exhibition.
Police said a report was made involving a youth and an interaction with a person or persons associated with a vehicle that has been described as a white four-door car.
RCMP are looking to speak with a man, a good Samaritan, who assisted a distraught youth after the interaction with the person associated with the white vehicle.
If you were at the fair on August 23 between 5 and 6 p.m. and noticed an interaction between a youth and a person associated with a white four-door car, you are asked to call the Smithers RCMP at (250) 847-3233.
