A single vehicle collision on the evening of July 29 sent one person to hospital.
Smithers RCMP responded to the crash at 7:22 p.m. on Highway 16 east of 16th Ave after the driver apparently suffered a medical emergency while driving and the vehicle went off the road, down an embankment and into the bush.
The driver was not injured as a result of the collision and damage to the vehicle was minimal.
