Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held on Nov. 11 in Smithers and Hazelton.
In Smithers, at 10:50 a.m. the Parade Commander will call the colour party to fall into position in front of the cenotaph at Veteran's Peace Park. At 10:58, the ceremony will commence.
Memorial wreaths will be laid. After the ceremony, there will be lunch served at the Legion.
In Hazleton, a parade begins at the Inlander Grocery parking lot. At 10:47 a march to the cenotaph at Bastion Park will be led by Kirsten Seymour on the bagpipes. At 10:52, a service begins at the park.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony at St. Peter's Anglican Church Hall.
