The Smithers and Hazelton Northwest Community College campuses were open for class as of 11 a.m. this morning. The Terrace campus was opened earlier.
All campuses were shut down at 5 p.m. yesterday and all evening classes cancelled, following heavy snows that made diving dangerous.
“The sun is peeking out, plows are hard at work and the snow has ceased falling,” said spokesperson Sarah Zimmerman. She asked staff and students to check road conditions at drivebc.ca before travelling to campus.
