A car crash between Telkwa and Smithers briefly closed Hwy 16 on April 9.
Smithers RCMP said two vehicles were travelling westbound on Hwy 16 when one vehicle pulled over to the shoulder and attempted an illegal u-turn.
The manoeuvre resulted in a collision with the second vehicle travelling behind.
The driver who made the u-turn has been charged with driving without due care and attention.
