Proton Foundation is hosting a silent disco to raise money for flexible and adaptable community emergency response.
The event is scheduled for March 30 at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at the Round Lake Hall in Telkwa.
Described as a “dance revolution” in its promotions, the event will include three DJ channels for guests to choose from.
“Imagine a dance floor where the beats are pumping directly into your headphones, creating a personalized musical journey just for you. No noisy speakers, just pure, immersive sound,” reads the promotion.
The event also includes a themed lounge area with pizza, charcuterie and non-alcoholic drinks. A photo booth will also be available for guests to capture the evening.
All proceeds from the event go directly to iCare, a group committed to having a flexible and adaptable community response to needs, particularly in areas where other programs in the community have gaps in their support.
iCare stands for Inspiring Community Assistance - Responding to Emergencies.
The disco is open to those aged 12 and up.
Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.ca.
