The Telkwa Fire Department put out a fire in a garbage truck on July 4.
Crews were called out to the Tyhee Market parking lot along Highway 16 at around 1:20 p.m.
Telkwa Fire Chief Travis Wall said they responded with 2 Engines and a command unit and crews were back at the fire hall at 2:50 p.m.
He said it was household garbage that caught fire.
Traffic was not impacted and there were no injuries.
