It will be a while before the full results are in, but by all accounts the Smithers Celebrity Golf Tournament held Aug. 8 - 11 will once again be turning over a lot of money to charity. This year's charities are the Bulkley Valley Health Foundation and the Bulkley Valley Youth Sport Foundation.
The Health Foundation is raising money to upgrade ultrasound equipment at the Bulkley Valley Regional Hospital.
The Youth Sport Foundation is a relatively new organization that is working toward ensuring every young person in the region has access to participate in sports.
