Smithers Fire Rescue responded to another tent fire at the homeless encampment at Veterans Peace Park on Sept. 10.
Deputy fire chief Alle Jan de Vries said seven firefighters responded to the incident.
"We were on scene approximately 30 minutes," he said. "The quick action of our firefighters contained the fire to a single tent."
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, Jan de Vries said.
Early in August another fire claimed two tents with no injuries.
