This week is the arrival of the Up Your Watershed concert at the Hazelton Secondary School on Thursday May 19 at 7 p.m.
The project, which is sponsored by the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition and Encorp, involves bringing the Artist Response Team duo, Holly Arntzen and Kevin Wright who are singers, song writers and producers who work closely with educators and scientists. The ART team sent out music and handbooks months ago and the students have been practicing for the big concert this week.
Tickets will be on sale by donation at the door and there will be students from several schools performing in this exciting community concert.
In addition to the one night concert at the school the duo will also be performing at a coffee house at the Kispiox Valley Community Hall on Saturday evening.
