The first exhibition of 2018 at Smithers Art Gallery is The Nature Diary Show, a four-day special show and fundraiser of the original artworks that illustrate the BV Naturalists’ recently published nature diary A Bulkley Valley Year.
Many of the works are for sale by silent auction, with proceeds to be split 50/50 between the Gallery and the artists. Bidding will be open from Tuesday and ends at 8.30 p.m. on Friday evening during the closing reception.
Exhibition dates: Jan. 23-26
Gallery Hours: 12-5 p.m.
Closing reception & final bidding: 7-9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26. All welcome, free admission and open to all members of the public. Appetizers are provided. Bidding ends 8:30 p.m.
