The book is not your typical angling tome.

If you live in the north, sooner or later you are going to either experience or hear about problems with the current medical system. It is not isolated to one hospital, nor is it isolated to certain doctors. In fact, each hospital has both sides of the coin it seems.

The second annual Telkwa Fun Day on Feb. 5 is not only the perfect way to get out and enjoy the community, but to raise funds for muscular dystrophy as well.

The Bulkley Valley Backpackers (BVBS), now officially a society, celebrated the accomplishments of Barri and Einar Blix at the group’s 20th anniversary dinner on Jan. 15. About 40 members attended the dinner at the Driftwood Lodge, including some longstanding hiking advocates.
