South Hazelton residents are being asked to fill out a one page survey in regards to their community by Feb. 28. The newly formed South Hazelton Community Association created the surveys to gather information about what the residents would like to see the SHCA do. There is also a spot for people to put their email so they can be sent regular updates and or recent news about South Hazelton issues. Surveys can be picked up and dropped off at either Tri Town Lumber or the New Hazelton Bulkley Valley Credit Union. They are also available at the main post office boxes in South Hazelton. In addition, they can be downloaded on line on the new website at www.southhazeltonca.weebly.com under upcoming events. Completed surveys can also be mailed to C.14 Powell Ave, V0J2R0 or emailed to southhazeltonca@gmail.com. The website is also inviting people to send in their pictures of the community. This Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. the SHCA will be holding their monthly meeting at the Fire Hall in South Hazelton and hope to be able to review the results from the surveys.
