The Hazelton Figure Skating Club and the Canskate program are getting ready for the upcoming season.

There will be two days available for young skaters, Tuesday and/or Friday starting this fall. Registration forms can be picked up at various locations including Geraco, John Field Elementary, New Hazelton Elementary and Hazelton Secondary, or people can download the forms from newhazelton.ca. They are located under the “news and announcements” section. People can also have them emailed by contacting Val Rubinato at 250-842-6979 or Mike O’Neil at 250-842-0288.

Completed forms and registrations can be dropped off at any of the above locations. There is also an early registration discount for those who sign up before September 23 and subsidies are available. Organizers are encouraging everyone to pull out their skates and stay tuned for a skate swap coming sometime in September.
