Blake Knibbs, 11, and about 30 other boys and girls aged 11-15, spent time learning crime scene investigation techniques from Smithers RCMP Const. A. vanLeeuwen at the Archery Grounds May 19.
The Scouts met at the 2012 regional jamboree to camp and discuss issues around the theme “footprint”, including invasive plants, human tracking in the wild and online, tree planting and more.
The group also tried their hand at archery, survival shelter construction and were going to safely watch the solar eclipse on Sunday.
