Phillip Stewart never quite said the words “iChoose the CDC” but it was his choice to send an iMac computer from BC Web to the Bulkley Valley Child Development Centre.

At the recent trade show at the civic centre, BC Web teamed up with the Chamber of Commerce to draw a name from Web’s customer base.

Three people from the Chamber were asked to pick a number and those numbers were combined and averaged to create an invoice number.

That invoice number lead to a purchase on Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. It was Phillip’s name on the sheet.

Phillips said he is very interested in personal development and believes in giving children a strong foundation.

Because of that, he didn’t hesistate to pick the CDC to receive the machine.

CDC executive director Kerri Kluss said that they serve 22 communities and support is always needed, and this computer will provide a great work station to help deliver their programs.

BC Web’s Mark Edwards said at the computer hand over that they’d also donate a photo book to commemorate the CDC’s upcoming 30th anniversary.
