An all ladies shooting clinic was held at the Bulkley Valley Rod and Gun Club last Sunday.

Co-sponsored with McBike and Sport, the event schooled 30 women in the safe handling and use of rifles, pistols and shotguns.

The coaching was led by Caroline Chupa of Extreme Tactical from Williams Lake. Caroline is an international-level competitor in a number of shooting disciplines and a well respected coach and trainer.

The ladies got to test their skills on clay pigeons, paper targets and metal gongs up to 100 meters away. The weather was exceptional and everyone had a great time.
