A great base layer is forming on Hudson Bay Mountain ahead of ski season.
As the rain falls in the Bulkley Valley, a sunnier situation is shaping up on the hill. Snow is accumulating, surely making ski and snowboard enthusiasts eager to scratch their powder riding itch.
Pictured below is a shack on the mountain, and the resort's maintenance crew member Brandon Misener busily working on a ski lift tower.
The ski hill is scheduled to open the morning of Nov. 25.
