Tom Griffith

Tom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. A celebration of Life was held Thurs., Oct. 30, 2003 with Father Slawek Trzask officiating.
Tom was born and raised in Smithers, and was very proud of his town and area. He was an active member of the community, involved in golf and curling. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors, drawing particular enjoyment from hosting friends at his cabin on Ootsa Lake.
He was a kind and helpful neighbour with a friendly word for all, and his generosity and warm spirit will be greatly missed.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Anne, son Dwane, daughters Megan and Tyra, grandson Clayton, brother Gerry (Yvonne), Daron and Cheryl and sister-in-law Lorraine; Roxanne, Rachel and Robin.
