Thomas George Delany
Sept. 4, 1949 — Dec. 2, 2003
Tom was born in Calgary and grew up in Smithers. He spent the last 13 years in Hagensborg, B.C. living a simple life, due to his limited vision, doing what he enjoyed — fishing, hunting, mushroom picking etc.
After 6 weeks of battling with cancer he died in Kelowna with his brothers present.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Thomas Alfred and Helene (Smith)
Tom will be sadly missed and is survived by his children Shanty and Shea, both of Quesnel, his brothers; Rick of Edmonton, Terry (Teresa) and Mike (Janna) of Smithers. He also has two beautiful grandsons, Tobias and Malakia, nephews and niece; Nolan, Corey, Dylan, Darcy and Becki
His many friends in Hagensborg, Quesnel and Smithers will miss his company, especially his good friend Kathy (John) of Kamloops.
We love you Tom and know that you are in a better place. May you always be with God.
