Michael Tanner Larsen

Feb. 3, 1981 to Sept. 1, 2003

Michael was born on February 3, 1981, to Donald and Cheryl Larsen in Cassiar, B.C. He passed away on Sept. 1, 2003 in Vancouver General Hospital. He absolutely lived life to the fullest and on the edge. Anyone who was privileged to know him, knows that he was one of the most giving people they ever met. He was an avid snowmobiler and loved anything that involved speed. Michael was so comfortable with himself and who he was that he was able to make anyone around him feel comfortable too. He was an incredible, young man. A gift we will treasure forever. We’ll miss you, Michael.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his parents Don and Cheryl Larsen of Smithers, younger brothers Cory and Chad; half-sister Melanie Duret of Debden, Saskatchewan; Grandmother June Duncan of Smithers; Uncle Robert (Helen) Anscombe of Calgary, Alberta; Aunt Pamla Townie of Smithers; Aunt Darlene (Brian) Dick of Coleman, Alberta; Uncle Raulie (Yvonne) Holman of Telkwa, B.C.; Aunt Debbie (Vince) Dick of Campbell River, B.C., Aunt Marie (Nick) Arabsky of Langley, B.C.; Aunt Joan (Gary) Robinson of Mildred, Saskatchewan; Aunt Elsie (Gary) Bowman of Valleyview, Alberta; Uncle Jim (Louise) Larsen of Kamloops, B.C.; Uncle Ken Larsen of Langley, B.C. and many, many cousins and numerous friends.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bulkley Valley District Hospital, Dr. L. Schaefer, Carol Lynn, Cheryl Elliot, Sharon Moore, Kim Livingston, Kirsty Layton, Andrea Bradford, Margaret Penney, and the Medi-vac crew.

Thank you to everyone for their kindness, bouquets of flowers and abundance of food. It was very much appreciated.
