Marlene Schneider passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Smithers, BC on January 3rd, 2016 at the age of 79.

Marlene was born in Khedive SK, she moved to BC and later Alberta, then back to Smithers, BC just 16 months before passing. Marlene was a wonderful homemaker, she raised her family and worked at various jobs as well doing volunteer work. She loved gardening and was very artistic. She was a loving, kind and genuine person and will be greatly missed.

Marlene is survived by her husband Ed Schneider; her four children, Kim, Julie, Bruce (Kerri) and Wayne Domes; her four step-children, Leslie (Lisa), Vangie (Justin), Sheldon (Melanie) and Lamont (Julie); 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Phyllis, Caroline, Madelene, Judy (Gordon), Shelley (Steven) and Marion and one brother Richard (Lorraine). She was predeceased by her parents John and Natalie Herberholz, her brother Jack and sister Susan.

Marlene had a strong faith and trust in the Lord and is now at perfect rest in His presence. A Celebration of her life took place on January 9th at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Smithers, BC with interment in the Telkwa Cemetery.
