John Worden

March 15, 2006

John Worden, formerly of Smithers B.C., recently residing in Red Earth Creek Alberta, passed away suddenly at home in the loving arms of his wife Brenda on Wednesday March 15th, 2006.  John leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years; Brenda.  His adoring children; Norrie and Claudette (husband Nick).  His beautiful grandchildren; Shawna-Lynn, Brendan and Matthew.  His pesky little sister; Heather Ann Poulin (husband Claude), from Burlington, Ontario.  Many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law in Ontario.

John was a long time employee of Smithers Airport, CMA and Barrack Gold.  John was recently enjoying a new career at a family oriented company, Apex Distribution, in Red Earth Creek.  A special Thank-you to his new boss Kevin LeMay (wife Leslie and their children) for providing a surrogate family for John while he was separated from his own for the past few months.

John will leave a great void in the lives of many people.  No one will miss John more than his loving wife Brenda.  He was the love and the light of her life.  “Good Night Baby.”

The family wishes that in lieu of flowers that  a donation be made in John’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
