Joann Leslie Tanner passed away at home on July 4, 2008, surrounded by family and love. She leaves to mourn, her loving husband Dan, children Bruce (Tanya), Christine (Jason) Konst, Mike (Belinda), Jennifer, Jacqueline and Hugh (Guno), father Les and stepmother Leah Pigeon, sisters Linda (Steven) Warren, Valerie (Arthur) Godberson and brother Douglas Pigeon. She was predeceased by her mother Eileen and brother Howard.
Go quietly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
Joann was a special education teacher for District 54 and had fostered over 40 children in the last 10 years. She will be sadly missed by many.
