Jensen, James “Jim” Roy passed away suddenly in the hospital on Dec. 2, 2008 at the age of 57 years.

Jim was born Aug. 11, 1951 in Fort St. John to his parents Elmer and Violet Jensen. He was a member of a large family that included four brothers and three sisters.

He married Evelyn (Woods) on Sept. 8, 1973 and they had lived happily together all those years, raising their children.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, one brother, two children (Jason and Theresa), and is survived by wife Evelyn, daughter Juanita (Shane) and granddaughter Trisha, many relatives and a host of friends.

Jim worked for many years as a road foreman and manager for the Ministry of Highways, Caribou Road Services, and Billabong Road Services. He lived in many places during his life, including Ft. St. John, Good Hope Lake, Alexis Creek, and finally settling in Telkwa.

A service of remembrance was held Dec. 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church with Rev. D. Moser officiating.

Cremation was requested.
