Jain Anne Peruniak
The families of Gagnon and Peruniak mourn the passing of Jain Anne Peruniak at 62 years of age on November 23, 2015, in Smithers, B. C.
Jain’s ebullient spirit enriched the lives of everyone who knew and cared about her. She will be greatly missed by family and friends across the country, in the U.S., and overseas.
She is survived by her loving partner, Adam, of Moricetown, B.C.; stepdaughters Angie, Aleah, and Azedeh; stepsons Juba, Louis, and Naikele; and loving sister-in-law, Antoinette. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley; stepmother, Wendy Stewart; brother, Geoff (Merilyn) and children, including her nephew, Kyle (Carla) and great-niece, Lana, of Smithers; and by her half sisters, Jennifer and Katie.
Heartfelt thanks goes to the nurses and staff who cared for her at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital in Smithers.
A celebration of life was held for Jain on November 28, 2015, just outside of Smithers.
