In Loving Memory of

Lubbers, Henry Joseph

June 16, 1915 to Sept. 9, 2008

Henry was born the sixth child of Frank and Sarah Lubbers (nee Nelson) on his parents’ farm in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan. He had a long and productive life and will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, and his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Sarah; sisters Mary, Delia and Alma; brothers Antone, Warner and Andrew; grandchild Nicholas; sons-in-law Ted Leboida and Richard Doll.

Survived by his wife Marg, brother Edward; children Sharon (Jim Johnson), June Anne (Bruce Lang), David (Farida), Donn (Bev), Nancy Doll (Ken Voth), Patricia (Wally Eddy), Kathleen (Jim Grant), and Heather (Lynden Delisle), also 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Henry was held on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 in the Smithers Anglican Church. Interment of ashes followed at the Telkwa Cemetery. Memorial tributes in Henry’s name can be made to the Bulkley Lodge at P.O. Box 3640, Smithers, B.C.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.A. Schrader Funeral Home.
