Euverman Ð Frederick passed away on the 27th of June, 2003 in Vancouver, B.C. at 67 years.
Fred Euverman was born September 30, 1935 in Hardenberg, Netherlands. He was the third of nine children born to Arend and Hermina Euverman. The family immigrated to Canada in June of 1948, and settled in Houston, B.C. In 1959, Fred married Helen Harkema and together they had five children. Helen was taken home to be with the Lord in 1991.
Fred married again to Joyce Regnerus in 1992. Fred retired in 2000 after working at Bandstra Transport since 1970. He logged more than 250 million miles on the road in his lifetime. After retiring, Fred learned to enjoy life by gardening, walking his dog, golfing and traveling a bit. Fred was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. We were blessed by him, and thank the Lord for his 67 years of life. We’ll miss him and his smile.
A funeral service for Fred was held on July 2, 2003 in the Smithers Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Jim Poelman officiating. Internment was in the Smithers Cemetery. If friends so desired, donations could be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
