Born Aug. 16, 1945, in Kelvington, Sask. Died June 16, 2006, Wrinch Memorial Hospital, Hazelton, B.C., of cancer.
Predeceased by his daughter Stephanie in June 2002, and his brother Dennis in 1966. He is survived by his loving wife Linda and daughter Jennifer, grandchildren Corey and Robyn, and by his parents Robert (Bud) and Doris Bridal; his sisters Judy (Fred) Haas, Lorna (Shane) Fuller, and Dorothy (Roger) LaMarshe and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to all the guys who build the ramp: Shane Fuller, Jay Blabey, John Wookey, Ron Fleming, Brian Fassnidge and Alan Berg. It gave him some precious freedom and mobility over the last few months. Doug loved family, fishing and working on his projects, he retired early and enjoyed a few years out fishing and travelling.
