Our hearts were broken on Mar. 21, 2006 with the passing of our courageous son and brother, Chris, at the young age of 19. Left behind are his parents, Norm and Donna, younger brother Justin, grandparents Garry and Bernice, Noel and June, and Great Grandma Lovey. He will be sadly missed by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Born March 17, 1987 in North Bay, Ontario he attended Muriel Mould Elementary, Burns Lake, New Hazelton Elementary and Hazelton Secondary. Although his life was short, it was full of so much love, passion and happiness. He had a great love for his family, travel, luxury cars and gems. Chris had a wonderful sense of humour and a huge heart of gold. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Special thank yous and gratitude to Dr. D. Cochrane and Dr. K. Goddard for their treatment that gave us 17 years of wonderful, happy memories, Dr. B. Hougesen for your compassion and home visits. Thank you to Lynn Shervill and all the Drs and nurses involved in Christopher’s care for the last 17 years. Thanks to Make A Wish Foundation for granting Chris’ wish for “The good life in Vancouver.” Marina of BMW Motors, Herb from MCL Motors and the Fairmont Hotel, and Collette Morgan of Make A Wish. Thank you also to all who sent cards, flowers, food, prayers and employees of Kyahwood.
As requested by Chris, no funeral was held. Chris wanted his ashes spread in Vancouver, the city he loved so much. We love you Chris and you are so deeply missed.
