Thomas, Christine Carol (nee Billy) passed away in Port Coquitlam, B.C. on May 31, 2003. She was born in the Yukon on December 17, 1949. She had a passion for cooking and sewing for her family as well as a love for the challenge of crossword puzzles and bringing in her own salmon. She is survived by her companion Micheal Beddoes, her three children, Michelle Thomas, Dawn Thomas (Jim Madigan) and Brandy Thomas (Gus Poirier) and granddaughter Baylee Thomas-Poirier, her mother June Bruton, sisters Josephine Holloway, Renis Bruton, Maggie Dutheil, Brenda Morris, Beverly Morrison, Janice Bruton, Ruth, and brothers Kenny Billy, Kevin Billy, Bill Bruton and Jerry Wolsynuk. She will be forever in our hearts.
A memorial service was held at Burkview Family Funeral Home, Port Coquitlam, B.C. Wednesday June 4, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. A reception followed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
