Adriana (Jennie) Pieternella Spyksma went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2017 at Hospice in Mission, BC. She was born on December 6, 1944 in The Netherlands, to Johan and Catharina (Hamelink) Melissen and married Bob Spyksma in 1967 in Richmond, BC.
Jennie is survived by her husband; her siblings Mel (Martha), Helena (Don) Sedan, Ina (Ron) Vonk, Gerdi deBoer, and Arnie (Janet); her in-laws Bill (Ko), Lucy VanHarten, and Peter (Sue); her children Shelley (John) Hempstead, Daryl (Tracy), Teresa (Eric Boucher), Stephanie (Donald Fairholm), and Kyle (Ruth); her grandchildren Lindsay, Laura, Derek, Joshua (Tessie), Maria, Sydney, Ian, Noah, Joanne, John, Monica, Sarah, Paul and Aaron; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church at 1:00pm, June 7, 2017
followed by a reception.
