Preliminary results

Donaldson won with 51.5 per cent of the vote, with 4,370 votes cast for him.

BC Liberal candidate Wanda Good was second with 39.3 per cent of the vote, with 3,330 votes cast for her.

Christian Heritage Party of B.C. candidate and interim leader Rod Taylor was third with 9.2 per cent, with 784 votes cast for him.

The final count — which may effect whether there is a minority or BC Liberal majority government in Victoria — commences May 22.

Skeena-Bulkley Valley NDP MP Nathan Cullen also spoke at the Old Church to give his view on the provincial election results.
