Smithers RCMP are hoping to speak with anyone who may have information about a home invasion on the 3200 block of Turner Way.

Around 4 a.m. on May 15, police received a report of a home invasion involving five masked men with weapons, including possible firearms. The men forced their way into the residence, restrained four people present in the home at the time, and demanded drugs.

Two of the victims were taken to hospital, treated for their injuries and released. The invasion is believed to be targeted.

Police forensics teams attended the scene to look for evidence. Officers continue to conduct neighbourhood enquiries in search of more information.

The five suspects were described as wearing masks, bandanas, and hooded jackets.

If anyone saw or heard anything related to this incident, or has any further information, please contact the Smithers RCMP at 250-847-3233 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
