More than 200 marijuana plants, several pounds of dried buds, growing equipment and $2,000 cash have been seized from a grow-op near New Hazelton.
Police used a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to raid the residence near Highway 16 on Feb. 8.
New Hazelton RCMP will recommend charges against a man, 67, and a woman, 53, in relation to the seizure.
They were released after their arrest to be summonsed at a later date if their charges are approved by a federal prosecutor.
