BC Hydro crews will be shutting down the Hazelton substation for four hours Sunday morning to make urgently needed repairs.
This work will render the following communities and customers without power from 6 to 10 a.m.:
New Hazelton, Old Hazelton, South Hazelton, Two Mile, Hagwilget, Kispiox Valley, Carnaby, Seeley Lake, Skeena Crossing, Kitseguecla, Kitwanga, Highway 16 east to Suskwa and west to Cedarvale, Highway 37 north to Gitanyow, and Westat Timber.
BC Hydro is telling customers to protect their equipment by turning off all lights, electric heaters, major appliances and unplugging all electronics.
