No one was seriously injured after a pile-up on Sunday night on Highway 16, 10 km east of New Hazelton.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson said several vehicles were involved in the collision.
“Two semis stuck on the hill, a vehicle slid into one semi, another vehicle slid into that vehicle, then a semi hit the trailer of a semi,” she said.
The road was closed for a few hours for clean-up. She is blaming slippery conditions for the crash.
As of Monday morning, Drive BC was still warning drivers of icy conditions and compact snow for most of Highway 16. Wet and near-zero-degree conditions were forecast to continue through Wednesday
