Logging trailer rollover over blocked Thornhill roundabout

Debris cleared at 1:30 p.m allowing smooth flow of traffic

Traffic was backed up in all directions at the Thornhill roundabout following a rollover of a logging truck’s load this morning (April 24).

The single vehicle incident occurred at 7:51 a.m. on Wednesday morning when the load of a logging truck traveling from the East on Hwy 16 rolled over at the Thornhill roundabout.

Workers from Emil Anderson arrived around 8 a.m. to manage traffic.

The Terrace Standard has learned there were no injuries. The truck appears to be OK, but the trailer load of logs were strewn across the roundabout causing delays into the afternoon.

The logs were cleared from the roundabout around 1:30 p.m allowing smooth flow of traffic.
