Information from an article by Mike Crisolago — does anyone remember Chuck Berry? He passed away a bit ago at 90 years old. Now there is an album called Chuck, written over the last quarter-century, focusing on aging and family. It appears Berry played live concerts into his late 80s and dedicated this last disc to his wife of 68 years, Themetta.

Something to look forward to: Orchestra North, Aug. 6-11. Contact 250-846-5359 for more information or info@festivalnorth.com, facebook.com/orchestranorth.

Pro tip for toenails from foot model Ellen Sirot: she keeps her feet photo-ready by shaping toenails squoval — square along the top, rounded at the corners — to help stop ingrown toenails. A fast fact: your foot has more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments, 33 joints in each foot and 26 bones. Nearly a quarter of your body’s total. When you walk, your feet bear the force of one-and-a-half times your body weight. When you run, they feel the force of two to three times your weight. They deserve to be taken care of; after all, we only have two of them.

The library book sale! Friday, June 9 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be at the Legion and we have a huge variety of awesome books. The money that is raised all goes towards the library collections and programs. See you there!
