For more than a century, The Interior News has served the Bulkley Valley in beautiful Northwest B.C. from Smithers, at the base of one of Canada's most stunning mountains, Hudson Bay Mountain.
The Interior News has won more than 60 international, national and provincial awards for journalistic and advertising excellence including a sweep of categories - Best All Round Newspaper, Best Editorial Page, Best Front Page - in its circulation range at the 2007 Canadian Community Newspaper Association Better Newspaper Competition.
In 2008, The Interior News was honoured with the Outstanding Community Service Award by the CCNA for the second straight year, and is a three-time Ma Murray Award winners (2006, 2007 and 2008) for Outstanding Community Service.
